Counselling & Psychotherapy
Ann is a psychotherapist with a background in social work. Having trained as a counsellor, she subsequently qualified as a clinical psychotherapist in the psychoanalytical tradition at St. Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin.
Ann has completed specialist trauma trainings in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and her Masters from University College Dublin focused on trauma and the body. In her practice, Ann sees adults with a wide variety of issues such as anxiety,depression (including postnatal depression), sexuality, bereavement, stress and trauma.
Holding the philosophy that people have the potential to be more than their difficulties, Ann works collaboratively with clients. She developed and delivered modules on Stress, the Body in Psychotherapy and Attachment Theory in the School of Arts at Dublin Business School at graduate and post-graduate level.
